Surprise Birthday Party for
FOUR FABULOUS GIRLS, Dec. 20, 2008
What do you do for four girls
who have birthdays that are always over shadowed by Christmas? Well, you
throw them a HUGE Surprise party, inviting all their friends, to welcome them to
the "teenage years". Good friends Maddie Mc Linden, Grace Bova, Catherine
Garrity, and Kelly Snyder all turn(ed) 13 within a month of Christmas. So
the parents of the girls got together and planned the surprise party of the
year! Most of St. Thomas Moore School was there, dancing to the music and
enjoying pizza and cake. The limbo was a BIG HIT and the night was full of
requested songs, some with dedications! Little Patrick really tore up the
dance floor, as you can see in one of the videos below. The icy weather
outside didn't stop the party inside from being a big success. Another
really cool thing the parents planned, in lieu of presents, they asked guests to
bring money that the girls would donate to a charity of their choice. At
the end of the night, the girls counted up the money and raised $870.00 for a great cause!
**UPDATE** The girls decided to donate the
money the raised to Angel 34, which is a local organization that provides
services & support for children battling cancer. GREAT JOB GIRLS!
