I have DJ'ed a lot of receptions and provided audio support for a few wedding services, and I have to say, this one was AMAZING! After a week of dreary weather, and a not-so-good forecast for the big day... someone upstairs must have been pulling for this event, because the rain stopped, the area dried out (with some help from the grounds crew) and the sun even came out 30 minutes before the ceremony. The setting and guests were gorgeous. After the ceremony the guests were treated to high-end appetizers and cocktails on the terrace overlooking the lake. The reception got underway at 7pm and the night was full of great food, salsa music performed live by Danny and the Latin Playboys, and of course, a lot of dancing. John performed The Darling Song live and Deb wowed the crowd with a Flamenco dance to Guajiras! The energy level of the guests was incredible, especially during the Hora, where John and Deb were floating around the dance floor on their chairs! Andy, who was instrumental in connecting John & Deb, made sure everyone had a blast on the dance floor, even the staff! The party would have went all night, but 1:15AM was the cut off by the staff. (I believe the party just moved to one of the rentals a guest had!)
