Aug. 5, 2008 - The Crime Watch for Shepherd Hills and Hamilton Fields neighborhoods is very active.  Not only does it show with the reduced crime rate (which is impressive considering they are in one of the fastest growing townships in PA), but every year they recognize National Night Out with a large festival that is 100% free for all the residents.  Local ambulance and fire crews came out to show off their equipment and provide demonstrations.  The PA State Police were also present.  Many local vendors and businesses donate food, supplies, door prizes, and their time.  This year Tina, from Hemmerle Hoop Co. came out and donated her time for the cause (and the kids LOVED it as you can see below).  There are many other businesses that deserve BIG THANK YOUS too (the complete list is in the 9/08 SHHA newsletter).  More information about the Shepherd Hills Homeowners Association can be found at:  www.shepherdhills.net.
