St. John's UCC & Lutheran churches of Fogelsville had yet another very successful Vacation Bible School week in July 2008. A major party of that success is the teen volunteers that assist with all aspects of VBS to make it more enjoyable for all. This year some of the adult volunteers decided to show their "THANKS" for the teen helpers by throwing a pool party. Pastor MaryAnn from St. John's Lutheran offered up her pool and DJ Jimbo supplied the music (and limbo). There was tons of pizza, wings, and other great food to eat. The attendance was a bit sparse (hey, it's hard to compete with family vacations to the beach and Knobels), but all those in attendance had a great time, as you can see below.
